Cheatham County Legislative Body met Feb. 24, 2025 in Ashland City. The body approved a package of budget amendments and asset surpluses, cleared a zone change, authorized an interfund note for school laptops, approved the expansion of the Veterans Service Office (later vetoed in a mayoral letter), and authorized the county mayor to sign an opioid-abatement disbursement agreement and a lease with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
