Cheatham County Legislative Body approved the 2024–25 budget and associated tax levies, set a stepped increase in the county development tax (to $5,000 effective Sept. 1, 2024), adopted a zoning change and new exterior-lighting and electromagnetic-interference standards, and approved several county contracts and a long-term lease for the 911 call center.
