The Charleston City Council met for a regular session that included two public commenters, proclamations recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month, multiple appointments and the unanimous approval of several finance-related resolutions including fire department equipment purchases, a budget amendment and a property payoff. Council members also raised neighborhood safety and pedestrian-crossing concerns on the West Side.
