The Appling County Board of Commissioners met July 8, 2025, and unanimously approved a resolution to adopt House Bill 223 timber tax relief for disaster-affected standing timber, authorized purchase and implementation of a county-owned emergency communications mobile app, set a July 29 budget workshop, approved personnel actions including hiring a fleet supervisor, and directed the county attorney to pursue easement/road abandonment work.
