Duplin County Schools board held a September 3 business session: a prayer was offered, community leaders presented an anti-bullying resolution, routine agenda and consent items were approved, the board entered executive session on personnel and confidential student matters, the superintendent reported a smooth school opening and the board approved personnel recommendations and an adjustment to a bonus before adjourning.
