At its March 17, 2026 regular meeting, the Fairfield County Board of Commissioners approved a participation agreement for national opioid litigation, authorized emergency action after a bridge collapse on Basil-Western Road and approved a set of routine contracts and budget items. Department heads provided updates including a Developmental Disabilities presentation, a SNAP error-rate review and a denied workforce program waiver affecting OU students.
