Meeting called to order at 10:00 a.m.; chair welcomed attendees and named present commissioners Patty Kaveh, Gwen Brown and Celeste Myers, attorney Jeff Scott, and clerk Chanel Lam; announced prayer and pledge. Chair opened public comment period.
Kane County Commission approved several routine and policy items on March 24, 2026, including a reappointment to the Council on Aging, zoning changes for a lot in Alpine Meadows, adoption of an update to the county land-use chapter recognizing livestock use of county roads, grant awards for farmers markets and downtown façade/beautification programs, purchase of trust land to resolve property access in Churchwells, and approval of exempt properties by the Board of Equalization. Commissioners discussed possible changes to rules on building heights and conditional use permits and asked staff and the county attorney to draft ordinance language and return with recommendations.
