The Oro Valley Budget and Finance Commission received an unaudited first-quarter financial report showing weaker-than-expected revenues—driven largely by local sales-tax shortfalls—and staff said they now project a multimillion-dollar use of fund balance this fiscal year. The commission also voted to cancel its Dec.16 meeting and observed the departure of Commissioner Mike Mason.
