At its Dec. 15, 2025 meeting, the Kewanee Community Unit School District No. 229 Board approved the 2025 tax levy and three bond-transfer resolutions, authorized the purchase of five diesel buses, approved a $33,000 Touch Pro Wrap project and a large set of policy revisions, and handled a slate of personnel actions; the Board also heard presentations on a proposed KHS butterfly garden and bilingual family engagement efforts.
