The Milan City Council met Oct. 7, 2025, and approved a first reading of Ordinance 2025-03 requiring inspections and new certificates of occupancy for commercial properties changing use, set a public hearing on moving city elections to coincide with state/federal elections, and approved several routine contracts and permits. Council also discussed parks-survey results and chose 2030 for Milan’s bicentennial planning.
