At its Jan. 12, 2026 regular meeting, the Sulphur Springs ISD Board of Trustees approved consent items, several bond-funded purchases including a $5.08 million furniture contract and $539,224 in security licensing, approved an interim early‑childhood principal and other routine items, and—after a closed session—renewed and extended the superintendent's contract.
