The Long County Board of Commissioners met Sept. 2, 2025, and approved the final plat for Sassafras Village Phase 2B with a condition that each phase be presented for review. The board passed Ordinance 2025-13 (3-1), approved a road-department equipment purchase cap of $100,000, adopted a new application form, and tabled several budget and easement items pending further documentation.
