At its May 28, 2025 meeting, the Scotland Board of Selectmen approved routine financial motions including transferring $13,994.25 in uncollected taxes to the Suspense Tax Book, approved appropriations/transfers, appointed a town historian and heard updates on town finances, bridge schedules, grants and a proposed solar project. Residents raised cemetery maintenance and notification concerns during public comment.
