The Hueneme Elementary School District governing board heard a school presentation, received public comment urging restoration of proposed teacher layoffs, approved multiple personnel and procurement actions including tentative agreements with the HEA and a 1.5% salary-schedule increase, and heard an update on the new state-mandated early-grade reading screener.
