The St. Martin Parish Council met March 3, 2026, in St. Martinville and approved multiple zoning exceptions, adopted ordinances to rezone a portion of Old Spanish Trail to allow a sorting and baling facility with conditions, passed resolutions including one opposing Class VI carbon-injection wells, authorized several contract awards and change orders for water and road projects, and deferred a nuisance-property certificate until April 7, 2026.
