The Southington Board of Education heard a robotics team presentation and took formal action to recommend Phase 1 of the district's elementary-school facilities plan (a new Kelly School and a South End build-out) to the town council, and approved recommended roof projects for separate referral. The board also received routine reports, approved personnel and job descriptions, and heard public comment opposing school closures.
