The East Lyme School District Board met March 9, 2026. The board heard a detailed update from the High School Vision Committee recommending a follow-up feasibility (phase 2) study to weigh renovation versus replacement of the high school, discussed an upcoming public forum on a proposal to arm some security personnel, and approved several budget and emergency spending items including limits for the non-lapsing reserve and an emergency snow-removal expenditure.
