The Groton Board of Education met March 23, 2026. The board heard public comment on a new food-insecurity stipend, received updates on an AI advisory committee and district finances, approved curriculum and policy items, voted to stop publishing class rank (starting with the class of 2030) while still naming valedictorian/salutatorian, authorized an early‑childhood center at Mary Morrison, and accepted several budget transfers and external grants including funds for a machine-shop workforce program.
