At the Nov. 10, 2025 West Orange Board of Education meeting, the superintendent and assessment director reported spring 2025 testing results showing district gains in several grades and identified areas for focus (algebra 2, writing/depth of analysis and subgroup disparities); the board urged the public to respond to the NJDOE funding-formula survey and approved routine personnel, curriculum and finance items.
