Board President Kennedy called the meeting to order, noted Director Hoech was absent due to illness and welcomed the public to the Mukilteo School Board meeting.
The Mukilteo School Board met for its regular session, heard student recognitions, public comments about transportation staffing and special education placement, received a two-year pilot report recommending new secondary English language arts materials (Amplify and CommonLit as cores, Norton supplemental) to be voted on at the next meeting, received the annual building condition assessment, and heard staff recommend rerunning a failed $400 million capital bond on the Nov. 3, 2026 ballot.
