The Yelm Community Schools board met March 26, 2026. Directors approved a resolution to begin a reduced education plan in response to budget shortfalls and discussed a district strategic plan centered on improving attendance, multiple facilities updates (including replacement of a fire-damaged portable and gym roof repairs), and community items including a $16,705.99 donation from the Southworth Elementary Booster Club.
