Mayor Miguel Loretti presented Shelton City's proposed fiscal 2026'27 budget to the Board of Aldermen and the Board of Apportionment and Taxation; he highlighted strong municipal finances, growth in the grand list, recent capital purchases and rising school costs and enrollment declines, and noted that the final budget will change pending state actions.
