At its March meeting the Volusia County Charter Review Commission discussed subcommittee recommendations (including east-side meetings, transit funding, infrastructure coordination and cultural funding), heard public comments on protecting conservation lands, and voted to amend previously approved ballot language to add a 30-day public-notice/transparency requirement for transfers of conservation lands; staff will return revised language in April.
