At a March 11, 2026 special meeting, the Custer County Board of Health adopted updated on-site septic (onsite) regulations, including a one-year permit term, a 48-hour inspection-notice requirement, a contractor-supplied schematic requirement, new variance procedures and alignment of the setback with the state standard. The board voted to adopt the revisions as presented.
