Mayor Nathaniel George Booker and the Maywood Board of Trustees met June 26, 2021, for a special workshop to discuss public-safety proposals from the police department, TIF maps and potential districts, community development projects, and a restructured approach to the village budget; the board recessed for a tornado warning and later held a closed session on legal, property and personnel matters.
