Oglesby City Council met on Sept. 2, 2025. The council appointed and swore in Jennifer Spratt as city clerk, approved payroll and vendor payments, passed ordinances including a dual-metering measure and an amendment to the municipal code to include games authorized by the Illinois Lottery Act, and held an extended discussion on code enforcement and possible administrative fees and enforcement options.
