Kennewick City Council met Oct. 1, 2024; council voted unanimously on multiple comprehensive-plan map and text amendments, approved annexation and related franchise actions, declared and voted to sell a 3.64-acre surplus parcel at 563 E. 13th Ave. for affordable housing, and authorized the mayor to sign an amended MOA to convey 72 acres of Columbia Park from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to the city.
