The California State Board of Equalization held its March 25, 2026 meeting in Sacramento. The board unanimously adopted a series of land escaped assessments and audit findings for several utilities and carriers, heard an extended presentation from the California Association of Assessors on legislative priorities (including Prop 19 fixes, disaster recovery rules and manufactured-home classification), and received agency reports about IT modernization funding requests, workforce and training, and changes to state-assessed filings.
