Franklin Community School Corp. board met to consider starting the process to purchase a property south of the middle school, authorized staff to obtain appraisals and begin acquisition steps, agreed to submit a Common School Loan application by April 6 for board action on April 13, and was informed the chief of police will attend an SRO conference in Nashville funded by a Homeland Security grant.
