Albia City Council heard public opposition to a proposed parking/yard ordinance and voted 5-0 to table the measure; the council also moved forward with administrative business including a second reading on Ordinance #891 (alley disposal), setting public hearings for the alley disposal and the comprehensive plan, and approving a tentative hire for sanitation commissioner pending wage negotiations.
