San Diego City Council heard the FY 2026 midyear budget monitoring report, received updates from the police department and the independent budget analyst, approved midyear appropriations and reallocations, authorized $21.4 million for Convention Center modernization projects and related delegation/PLA actions, and held an evening budget hearing to solicit public input for FY 2027.
