The Sebastopol Planning Commission on Aug. 27 recommended that the City Council consider a tentative map and conditional use permit for a housing project at 7621 Hillsburg Avenue after staff and the applicant presented design changes prompted by a traffic study. Commissioners and numerous residents debated traffic, infrastructure capacity, tree removal and noise mitigation before the commission voted 4–0 to forward the item to council (one absence).
