Department of Health and Human Services officials announced an 18-member health care advisory committee to develop recommendations aimed at improving Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program and health insurance marketplaces. HHS and CMS said the volunteer panel — chosen from more than 400 applicants — will convene later this year to produce actionable recommendations.
