Brown County commissioners opened with a prayer, received a report on a new county alert system with more than 500 initial registrants, discussed hiring an architectural firm and next steps for courthouse/facility planning, and considered equipment purchases including a large water truck and AED replacements. The meeting moved on to a scheduled presentation by Texas A&M Forest Service and Texas Water Service staff.
