The Huntington Union Free School District Board of Education met March 24, 2026, to accept audits and warrants, celebrate a QTEL apprenticeship team, review and approve curriculum proposals (including a new seventh-grade Civic Quest course and several AP/dual-enrollment offerings), and hear a staffing and budget presentation that outlined a 261‑student enrollment decline and proposed staff adjustments. The board also approved placing a capital proposition on the May 19 ballot.
