The Cumberland Town Council met to consider licenses, appointments and several resolutions. The council approved a special-event license for Ocean State Brewing (doing business as Fanta Brewing) by a 6–1 vote after questions about a prior unlicensed event, approved several licenses and easements unanimously, tabled a tax-levy resolution and an IT contract renewal, and appointed Jennifer Geller as K–12 program coordinator.
