Mayor John Hammond called the March 17 meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.; staff conducted roll call. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance (led from the dais) and an invocation by Rabbi Meir Gordon, who delivered a multi-faith reflection and asked the council for wisdom in governing.
The Paso Robles City Council met March 17, 2026. Council heard presentations on airport/spaceport operations and security upgrades, a Planning Commission recommendation to form an ad hoc to revitalize Norma's Alley, and held public hearings that resulted in approvals for updated development services fees, the Allegretto Vineyard Resort expansion, a 24-unit Creston Road housing project (including oak removals), and an amendment to CalPERS cost-sharing for safety managers.
