Hamblen County Board of Education met in March for school recognitions, routine consent items and a set of action items including purchase contracts, capital projects, financial amendments and initiation of talks to explore purchase of property at 821 Lincoln Avenue. The board also discussed a $40,000 opioid-settlement grant to install a trauma-informed space at Miller Boyd.
