At its March 26, 2026 meeting the Swansea Planning Board held a public hearing on a proposed 5-megawatt ground-mounted solar project on roughly 24 acres of airport land; the board found the application complete, granted two technical waivers and continued the hearing to April 9 to allow Conservation Commission review. The meeting also reviewed a new tenant application and discussed a wastewater study for the West Swanzey treatment plant.
