Wayne County Health & Human Services commission approved several public-health grants and contracts, including a $250,000 HRSA continuation for two federally qualified health centers (expanding hours and adding a third site in Garden City), a $562,581 state grant for medical-marijuana outreach, a sole-source contract for a county health data dashboard, and local stabilization funds for essential public-health services. Commissioners also heard presentations from youth-prevention providers and a public comment on grief recovery services.
