Students from San Dimas High School and other local schools (multiple student speakers) introduced themselves for Students in Government night; speaker 1 (Mayor) and others explained the program and called on Tiffany to read public comment rules.
San Dimas City Council held a Students in Government night that included volunteer recognition, public comments on transit, introduction and unanimous approval of an ordinance updating accessory dwelling unit and electric vehicle charging rules to comply with state law, midyear budget amendments including a $500,000 appropriation toward PERS liability, and adoption of a PLHA (permanent local housing allocation) resolution reallocating funds to supportive case management and expanding outreach services.
