Montclair City Council held its final meeting of the year with holiday recognitions, awards for a holiday decoration contest, public comments pressing Councilmember Ben Lopez to resign after a court found him liable in a harassment case, and adoption of several items including CDBG funding priorities, an oversized-vehicle ordinance and updated building codes. Council also scheduled a closed-session update on the Lopez matter for Jan. 20.
