Avondale City Council held its regular meeting on Oct. 7, 2024. The council heard a presentation on homelessness services and success stories; received an update on solid waste and recycling service changes that would shift curbside recycling and trash to Monday–Thursday starting Feb. 1, 2025; approved the consent agenda unanimously; and the mayor delivered a goodbye/remembrance as he prepares to step down.
