The CRA meeting was called to order. Chair Grinder, Member Miller, Member Whites and Member Bledsoe were recorded present; Vice Chair Howell was absent. The chair announced invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance.
The High Springs CRA and City Commission met March 26, 2026. The CRA approved a new Project Incentive Grant Program to seed catalytic downtown projects; the city commission heard extensive public comment urging against cuts to police and fire, approved a five-year extension/addendum to the Waste Pro solid‑waste contract (with a CPI pause to Oct. 1, 2027), awarded multiple disaster-debris contracts, directed staff to explore sale of the city water-tower property, and adopted an ordinance creating nonvoting planning-board alternates (to be nonvoting unless a permanent vacancy occurs).
