Sen. Russ Ingalls, chairing a Senate agriculture delegation, briefed the House Agriculture Committee on S.323, a multipronged bill the Senate committee designed to restore farmers' protections after a Supreme Court ruling and to update several agricultural statutes, including Act 250 exemptions, seed law modernization and hemp regulation. Committee members asked questions and scheduled follow-up agency testimony next week.
