The Decatur Building Standards Commission met briefly to review code-enforcement cases. Members voted to give the owner of 803 North Newark Street additional time to pursue demolition or repairs rather than issue an immediate demolition order and heard updates on two other hazardous-property cases; several items were scheduled for follow-up at future meetings.
