South Padre Island City Council held a regular meeting with public comment, a proclamation for the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association centennial, and routine approvals including grants, contracts, event subsidies, two ordinances and revisions to the city ethics code. Council also heard a detailed presentation on short-term rental compliance technology and approved several beach and streetscape projects.
