At its July 28, 2025 Regular Village Board meeting, the Lindenhurst Board split 3-3 on an ordinance to adopt a local 1% grocery sales tax (the motion failed), and approved a set of operational contracts and agreements including pavement patching, a salt-dome door replacement, and the Lindenfest facility use agreement.
