Albia City Council on Sept. 6, 2022 approved a request by Albia Housing to surface a right-of-way for parking, continued an abatement on a dilapidated building, approved a program to dispose city-acquired properties, authorized hiring a police officer and purchasing updated tasers, set an Oct. 3 public hearing on sewer trunk-line repairs, and handled several routine administrative items.
