The Carlsbad Historic Preservation Commission reviewed a third-grade art contest, completed a multi-month work session on preservation incentives and voted to adopt a resolution (amended to include nonresidential historic resources) to forward recommendations to the City Council; it also approved updates to the plaque program to include heritage trees and discussed barriers to Mills Act enrollment including application costs.
